Yas TV

"Based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Yas TV is a satellite channel showing for free a selection of highlights from the various sports channels owned by Abu Dhabi Media group. Formerly the Abu Dhabi Sports Extra channel, it was not until 2015 that it assumed its current name. It offers a rich programme of prestigious national sports such as horse and camel racing, sailing and falconry.

Yas TV provides coverage of the full range of equestrian competitions in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf, whether that be racing, show jumping or traditional Arabian events. Meanwhile, considerable air time is also given to many other famous championships around the world. In addition, this free satellite channel has contributed to the renewal of popular national sports such as falconry, which are part of the UAE’s distinctive cultural heritage, by offering exclusive reports and live broadcasts from local events.
